In 1987, founding pastors Tony & Tami Cribb had a vision placed on their hearts by the Lord to plant Restoration Church in Spartanburg, SC.

 

GraceWay Church was founded & established by Pastor Jan King in 2009. Hope Church was birthed when GraceWay & Restoration Church united in August of 2015. Since then, leadership felt stirred to expand the vision of Hope Church into the upstate of SC through the beginning of multisite campuses in 2017. 

 

Pastors Rich & JoAnna Butler transitioned into the role of Lead Pastors, following the succession of Founding Pastors Tony & Tami Cribb in 2020. Presently, our Lead Pastors are passionate to see revival here in SC; they aim to continue carrying the vision of Hope Church as a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled church. Their heart is to see Hope Church be a beacon of "hope" for the people of South Carolina.

Hope church strives to build upon our rich history of local and global impact through the building hope initiative.

Hope Church will continue its legacy of being a multi-generational church; a place where fathers and mothers, sons, and daughters lock arms in the mission of leading the people of South Carolina into the life-giving presence of God.

Building Hope is a generosity initiative, focused on outreach & expansion.
